Puppy Guarantee and Sales agreement:

This dog/puppy is guaranteed to be in good health for 3 days after receipt. During that time the buyer should take the puppy/dog to a vet of their choice for examination at their expense. This dog/puppy is guaranteed for one year against congenital defects. Any defect found must be verified/diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian. Foxfire Kennels will not be responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred for any reason, not limited to diagnosis, travel, medications or any other expense incurred for the diagnosis or treatment of any defect found.  Foxfire Kennels will replace any dog/puppy found to have a congenital/genetic defect with a dog/puppy of like sex and quality as the only and sole remedy for a dog/puppy found to have a congenital/genetic defect. Foxfire Kennels will not be responsible for any shipping/crate/health certificate charge/charges needed or incurred for the replacement dog/puppy.  

No part of this guarantee is transferable and is supplied and recognized to the original purchaser only. Genetic health guarantee is for ALL dogs/puppies sold.  Pet/companion/show animals are covered for 1 year from date of new owner acquisition for any and all congenital defects that affect health/soundness/longevity. After that time frame no warranty is expressed or implied for pet/companion/show animals. Diagnosis, treatments, travel, and all other expenses and remedies as outlined below.

  This dog/puppy is sold with a 2 year genetics guarantee covering inherited (genetic) diseases not limited to patellas, elbow dysplasia, hip dysplaysia and degenerative back/disk disease and PRA. ANY genetic disease found to be present MUST be diagnosed and put in writing as genetic by the diagnosing veterinarian and not a result of accident, injury or geriatric and any and all documentation, radiographs, x-rays and any/all diagnosing tests/results must be supplied to Foxfire Kennels at buyers sole expense.  Foxfire Kennels will replace any dog/puppy found to have a genetic disease/defect with a puppy/dog of like quality and sex. Foxfire Kennels will not be responsible in any way for any veterinary expenses incurred for any reason, not limited to diagnosis, travel, medications or any other expense incurred for the diagnosis or treatment of any genetic disease found. Foxfire Kennels will not be responsible for any shipping/crate/health certificate charge/charges needed or incurred for the replacement dog/puppy. No condition/complication connected with a geriatric (aged) dog to be considered under this guarantee or considered for replacement. It is understood by all parties that older animals can have problems not necessarily a condition of hereditary origin or the result of breeding.

 No dog/puppy sold under full registration/breeding/show agreement is not guaranteed to be breedable or will finish a Championship, but rather the animal shows little or no faults at time of sale and is a show breeding prospect. Adult size is not guaranteed. “Foxfire” is required to PRE-EMPT his/her registered name or this guarantee is null and void and seller has the right to cancel registration or take possession of puppy/dog back and all money and compensation paid shall be forfeit by the buyer..

  ANY puppy sold on a “limited” registration for pet/companion purposes will receive the AKC papers ONLY after spay/neuter and certificate of such surgery is supplied to Foxfire Kennels unless said puppy/dog has been neutered or spayed before receipt. ALL dogs/puppies MUST be neutered/spayed before 6 mos. of age at buyers expense and receipt from licensed veterinarian supplied to Foxfire Kennels with BREED, SEX and COLOR notated, or this entire guarantee is null and void in every aspect. Under NO circumstances is the animal to be bred! Failure to spay or neuter an animal purchased under this spay/neuter agreement can result in legal action and will be pursued for breach of contract and all legal fees will be paid by buyer. Damages will be 5 times the price paid for the puppy plus legal costs and damages added for any profit taken for breeding/puppy sales, if any.  Buyer Initials:________  No AKC papers will be provided to a buyer if the 6 mos. passes and the puppy has not been altered. Buyer initials: ______ ANY puppy/dog sold by Foxfire Kennels and is unable for any reason to reside in the new owner’s home should be returned to Foxfire Kennels. No refund of purchase price or airfare will be paid for any returning animal unless a new home is found or arranged for and details will be arranged between parties involved. At no time do we here at Foxfire want one of our dogs/puppies to end up in a rescue or animal shelter for ANY reason and a home with us is guaranteed for any animal unable to reside within it’s new home.

By signing this agreement buyer agrees to all content and agrees to all terms and conditions this dog/puppy is sold under and guaranteed for. Litigation for any part of this contract or breach of this contract shall take place in Bonner County Idaho, 1st. Judicial Court, Sandpoint, ID.
